Weekend Jamz: 80s Night

I heard Dexy’s Midnight Runners on the radio yesterday and decided to trash the playlist I had originally comprised for today.  Why?  Because I neeeeeeded to make a playlist full of my favorite 80s dance jams.  “Come on Eileen” always makes me hungry for more 80s music.  Plus, the city I hail from has a kick-ass 80s night every Friday and I’m homesick for it.

Awesome 80s Dance Mix

I’m going to try listening to this in my headphones at work today, but chances are my killer dance moves will freak out my coworkers.  (This is how I feel about that.)

Happy weekend, y’all.

Weekend Jamz: Poptart

Anyone else have a lousy week?

I needed a playlist to boost my spirits, so I pulled together some of my favorite pop songs of the late 60s and early 70s.  I love radio pop from that era, and I think this collection of songs will be a perfect pick-me-up for the end of the week.

Weekend Jams: Destination Relaxation

With temperatures steadily dropping, it’s becoming apparent that I’ll be spending the bulk of this weekend indoors.  I created this laid-back, folksy playlist to accompany me while I consume copious amounts of coffee and attempt to be productive inside.  In reality I’ll probably be listening to it and lazing around the house, but I’m okay with that.  Have a cozy weekend, y’all!

Weekend Jams: Stuck Inside

Warm & Fuzzy Playlist

Whether you’re trapped inside due to winter weather, illness, or (like me) both – here’s a playlist to help you make it through a day indoors.

Weekend Jamz: Fierce Females of the 90s

Welcome to Creature Club.  Let’s get the weekend started with a playlist full of 1990s hits!  Here are 10 songs that millennials should recognize and love.

Until I work out how to make Grooveshark playlists accessible through WordPress, here’s a link to the playlist:

And, just for good measure, here are two penguins hugging.  Happy weekend, y’all!!
